54.1-3408 Provider must be MAT certified to administer prescription medication.

Comments:
An unannounced inspection was conducted this morning. There were 4 children ( 8 points) with the Provider. The Provider is MAT certified and has completed over 20 hours in annual training. The children were observed during dance and story time. All 4 children's records were reviewed and the Inspector was able to talk with the children as they counted and made animal sounds. The outside area was checked and the kids planted seeds that are growing. Please call with any questions 703-479-4679

Description: Based on record review of 4 children's files, there was 1 child's file missing 1 of the 2 required emergency contacts. Evidence: 1. Child's file #2 had a completed emergency contact but the second space had check marks. 2. Provider stated they only have people in New Jersey and oth parents are accessible.

Plan of Correction: Inspector explained parent can sign off that there is no one available.
