An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted Wednesday, May 27, 2015 from approximately 2:25pm until 3:50pm. Present were nine children totaling twenty-two points with one caregiver. A second caregiver had been present until 2:00pm. The children were napping when the inspector arrived.
Two caregiver records were inspected.
One newly enrolled child's record was inspected.
The family day home does not provide transportation, medication administration or swimming. There are no pets.
Lunch: Beef patties, bread, mashed potatoes, green beans and milk.
PM Snack: Pineapple and rice crispy treats
Monthly practice evacuation drills were documented with the last drill completed 4/8/15.
Previous violations had been corrected.

Standard #: 22VAC40-111-570-A
Description: Based on observations, the provider did not ensure each caregiver did not exceed 16 points. Evidence: The licensing inspector arrived at the home at 2:25pm to conduct an unannounced inspection. There were nine children present totaling 22 points with one caregiver. The children were napping. The provider called two parents to pick up their children to correct the overage. By 3:10pm, the provider had seven children present totaling 16 points. The children were just beginning to awaken from nap. A second caregiver had been present until 2:00pm.

Plan of Correction: Per Provider: Adjustments will be made when over points.
