Discussed paperwork for the Provider's sister when she may help out at the FDH.
An unannounced monitoring inspection was initiated today at 2pm. There were 8 children, totaling 17 points, under the supervision of 2 caregivers. During the inspection, children were observed taking naps, playing with toys, and interacting with the caregivers in a positive and constructive manner. For lunch today, the children were served hot dogs, baked beans, pears and milk, The Provider is currently certified to administer medications (MAT), but there are no children with any medication needs at this time. Child #2 began care on 1/5/15. This child does not have a physical on file. Plan of Correction: The Provider will ask for this.
Standard #: 22VAC40-111-70-A Description: Based on file review, 4 out of 4 children's records do not have verification of having been provided all required information. Evidence 1. Children 1-4 do not have a signed Medication Policy on file. Plan of Correction: The LI printed this form the Provider to use. She will have the parents review and sign this to keep on file.
