Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today from 1:20am-12:30pm. There were 11 children(33 points) directly supervised by 3 staff. The home, 3 staff records, 4 children?s records, 5 household member?s records, evacuation drills, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. There were no medications on site today. Children were observed playing freely and eating lunch. Areas of non-compliance are identified in the Violation Notice. Violations:
Standard #: 22VAC40-111-960-C
Description: Based on direct observation, feeding tables with safety waist and crotch straps fastened were not used for children under 12 months of age. Evidence: Three infants were observed sitting at the feeding table while eating and drinking and were not secured safely with the waist and crotch straps fastened.

Plan of Correction: I will make sure all kids are strapped.

Standard #: 22VAC40-191-40-D-4-a
Description: Based on record review and provider statement, the provider did not obtain a search of central registry within 30 days of a person 18 years of age or older beginning to reside in the home. Evidence: A CPS search of central registry was not observed for Household Member D, who has resided in the home for more than 30 days. the provider stated that the form had been sent and the check had cleared.

Plan of Correction: I have mailed the form already and waiting for it to return.
