54.1-3408 Provider must be MAT certified to administer prescription medication.
An unannounced renewal inspection was initiated today at 1:30pm. The physical plant, 3 caregiver/household member files, 4 children's files, caregiver training, child nutrition, children's activities, emergency procedures, drills and supplies were inspected today. There were 9 children (plus the Provider's child), totaling 24 points, under the supervision of 2 caregivers. During the inspection, children were observed enjoying free play, being fed (infant), having a diaper changed, socializing with the other children and resting at nap time. Since there was no school today, there were 3 school age children in care today. The interactions between the children and caregivers were seen to be positive and constructive in nature. Today, the children were served spaghetti, salad, garlic bread, applesauce and milk. The Provider is currently certified in MAT (medication administration training), CPR and First Aid. There are no children with any medication needs at this time. Should you have any questions, please contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
