Comments:
An unannounced full renewal inspection was conducted today. The provider and one assistant caregiver were caring for 6 children, totaling 18 points. One of these children was the provider's own child. The children were observed singing morning welcome songs, listening to stories, playing group ball games outside, coloring pictures, planting seeds in the outdoor garden, and eating morning snack. The children were served apple slices, sunflower seeds, and water for snack. The children were to be served cheese quesadillas, red peppers, avocado, and milk for lunch later today. This inspection was completed between approximately 10:00 am and 11:20 am. Thank you for meeting with me today. If you have any questions regarding this inspection please email me at sandra.dimperio@dss.virginia.gov

Violations:
Standard #: 22VAC40-111-960-E
Description: Based on observations, it was determined that two children's bottles were not labeled as required. Evidence: During this inspection, there were two infants in care who drink from bottles. The bottles for each of these children were not labeled with the child's name.

Plan of Correction: The bottles are completely different so we know exactly which bottle is for which baby. I will label the bottles today.
