The LI also observed the children as they participated in other varied activities to include: play, hand washing and the lunch meal. After lunch, a story was read to the children prior to nap/rest time. The LI observed the caregivers interacting with the children. A sample of 5 records was reviewed, 1 caregiver's and 4 children's. The first aid kit and emergency preparedness plan were reviewed. A prescribed medication was observed, written authorization to administer was reviewed. The Provider and several other caregivers have recently updated/completed (MAT) training. The child care area was clean and supplied with age appropriate equipment and materials.
