The inspector and provider discussed standard s 22 VAC 40 111 70.A.4 and 700.A. if changes in the policy are planned.
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted from 9:10 a.m. ? 10:42 a.m. At the time of entrance, 10 children were in care with 2 caregivers present. Records were reviewed for 3 children and 2 adults. Children were observed during individual choice activities in centers, clean up of play equipment, circle time including singing, counting, spelling their names, reporting their birthdays, discussing, reading, observing and demonstrating the movements of insects as well as conversing with caregivers and each other. Infant care was also observed during cuddling, floor play, story time and toddling. There were no areas of noncompliance identified.
