Comments:
Today's visit was a routine monitoring inspection. There were five children present with one provider and a total of ten points. The inspection began at 10:30am and concluded at 1:00pm. During the inspection outdoor play was observed, the outdoor area was viewed, three out of eleven children's records were reviewed,the provider's record was reviewed, an adult household member's record was reviewed, circle time was observed, lunch time was observed, nap time was observed, emergency supplies were reviewed, and some policies and procedures were reviewed. The provider is MAT certified and did not have medication during the day of the inspection. Thank you for your time, please call me at (540)309-2051 if you have any questions.

Standard #: 22VAC40-111-830-C
Description: Based on the inspector's review of the log to record emergency drills, the provider failed to ensure an emergency evacuation drill was documented one month. Evidence: The emergency drill log does not include a fire drill for the month of April.

Plan of Correction: The provider will ensure all drills are immediately documented upon the completion of the drill.
