Technical Assistance:
The inspector and provider discussed keeping up with maintenance. In particular the caulking around the bathroom sink so that it can be replaced if it begins to peel. The storage of extra crib mattresses was also discussed.

An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted on June 2nd 2016 between 1:00pm and 2:15pm. There were 5 children (12 points) in the direct care of 1 provider. Children were observed playing with various toys, sharing, and taking a nap. The household, provider, and children's records were reviewed. Description: Based on record review, 2 of 2 household records reviewed did not have a current Report of Tuberculosis screening. Evidence: Household member #1 last screening expired on 3/4/13 and household member #2 screening expired on 5/29/11

Plan of Correction: For household #1 will have it completed when he returns from school. For household #2 will locate the xray documentation.

Standard #: 22VAC40-111-610-A
Description: Based on observation, a television in the day care area was not showing a program that was produced for children. Evidence: The television was on from 1:00pm to 1:15pm on a day time talk program that was not designated for children.

Plan of Correction: Was turned off during inspection. We were outside beforehand and forgot to turn the television off.
