Technical Assistance:
1. The Provider has completed 0 of 16 hours of annual child development training. Hours are to be completed by 6/27/16, and training certifications sent to the inspector by this date for verification. 2. Reviewed inaccurate information on the CPS check. Provider stated these were unintentional mistakes and she will correct. 3. Discussed outdoor climbing equipment to be on grass and not deck when children are using. 4. All medications in the house must be stored in a locked place.

Comments:
Conducted an unannounced renewal inspection 10:10-11:55am. Observed 4 children = 10 points with the Provider. Assistant #1 arrived during the inspection. Ratios and supervision were in compliance. Interactions between caregivers and children were kind and patient. The Provider demonstrated a positive engagement with a child who was not following instructions and was upset. During snack she engaged the children with educational discussions. Children were observed playing with blocks, puzzles, reading books, discussing fire safety and weather, washing hands, and eating a morning snack. Snack Served: cheese crackers, bananas, apple juice. The daycare areas of the home were found to clean, safeguarded appropriately, and well supplied with toys and equipment for the children. No medications reported to be on-site, and the Provider is not currently certified to give medicine. The Provider is currently certified in First Aid/CPR. Record keeping violations found.
