Technical Assistance:
Technical assistance today included the backyard areas. Children are not currently using the playground behind the house, and are walking to a nearby public playground. We also discussed the location of over the counter medications.

An unannounced monitoring inspection took place today from 11 am - 12: 35 pm. There were four children present with the provider and assistant for 13 points. Standard #: 22VAC40-111-980-A
Description: Based on a review of records today and staff confirmation, written permission from the parents for the provider to take children off the premises was not available. Evidence: General written permission was not documented for any of the children in care for going on a walk to the park.

Plan of Correction: We will do this as soon as possible.

Standard #: 22VAC40-111-180-A
Description: Based on a review of staff and household records today, it was found that not all adults had a current report of tuberculosis screening available today. Evidence: The current documentation tuberculosis screening for the provider, assistant and household member #3We wi expired 7/16.

Plan of Correction: We will go to get the TB screening this week.
