Conducted an announced initial study with the provider. There were no children in care during the inspection. Not all of the standards were reviewed at this time due to no children being enrolled. All of the household records were reviewed. The provider is current in First Aid and CPR. Start time: 9:10am End time: 11:20am
Standard #: 22VAC40-111-810 Description: Based on the provider interview there was no relocation procedures listed on the emergency preparedness and response plan. Evidence: The relocation procedure of the emergency preparedness and response plan was the same as the evacuation procedure. Plan of Correction: This was corrected by the provider during the inspection.
Standard #: 22VAC40-111-940-A Description: Based on an observation there was no thermometer to monitor food storage. Evidence: The refrigerator was missing an operable thermometer to monitor the refrigerator and freezer compartment temperatures. Plan of Correction: Provider stated that she will get a thermometer for the refrigerator and freezer compartments by the weekend.
