- Technical Assistance:
Consulted with the provider on keeping the outdoor play area safe for the children. Please remember to empty any water that has accumulated in the play equipment or containers after it rains.
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today from approximately 11:30 to 12:30pm. Seven children were present with the provider and assistant. Total 15 points with two caregivers. The children were participating in group time, which included singing, counting and story time. They were also observed watching nickelodeon and eating lunch. One new child has started since the last inspection. His record was reviewed today and found complete. The provider has added two ducks to her family's pets. They are kept outside in their own pen. As we discussed, please ensure that the area where the ducks are kept is maintained and kept clean. If you have any questions, I can be reached at 703-479-4709.
