Comments:
An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted on November 9th 2016 between 9:00am and 10:30am. There were 7 children (19 points) in the direct care of 2 staff members. Children were observed building with blocks, having snack (bananas and goldfish), washing hands, and playing with stuffed animals. A sampling of children's records, the household records, and the staff records were reviewed. The physical space, supervision, evacuation drills, weather radio, flashlight, emergency plan, and the first aid kit was observed and inspected. If you have any questions please contact me at 703-554-4995 or at derek.acosta@dss.virginia.gov.

Violations:
Standard #: 22VAC40-111-520-B
Description: Based on observation, an infant was in a crib that was being used as a play space. Evidence: An infant was observed to be in a crib with a floor play mat playing. Once the inspector mentioned this to the provider the child was moved to another play space immediately

Plan of Correction: I was not aware of that, from now on I will put him to play on the floor with the play mat.
