CPR/FA requirements.

Comments:
The licensing inspector conducted an unannounced complaint inspection in response to a complaint that was received by the licensing office on 02/08/2017. Interviews were conducted with children and staff relating to the allegation of the children being left alone. The preponderance of the evidence gathered during the investigation does not support the allegation. There are no violations related to the allegation; however there were two (2) violations found during the inspection. If you need further assistance, please contact me.

Complaint related: No
Description: Based on discussions with the provider and assistant the provider failed to maintain compliance with this standard as required relating to CPR certification. Evidence: The provider stated that she has left the children alone with her assistant on occasion to attend medical appointments. The provider and assistant confirmed that the assistant does not currently hold certification in CPR as required when he is providing care to the children in the providers absence. There shall always be a care provider with the children who holds current certification in CPR.

Plan of Correction: Provider will not leave the children with the assistant, and will in turn close for the days in which she has medical appointments.
