Comments:
An unannounced annual subsidy inspection was completed on March 24, 2017. The purpose of this visit was to measure the facility?s compliance with the subsidy requirements. There were two children for a total of 6 points with one caregiver.
The children were observed playing with toys and were later fed snack by the provider. The facility does not administer medication. The facility does not provide transportation. The last evacuation drill was conducted 2/3/17. Two shelter in place drills were conducted in 2016. One caregiver's and two children?s records were reviewed. Children?s materials and equipment were inspected and found to be clean, age appropriate and in operable condition. The first aid and emergency supplies were inspected and found to be complete.

Standard #: VENDHOM-000-005-B
Description: Based on a review of the attendance record, the caregiver did not ensure that departure times were documented. EVIDENCE: The departure times were not documented on the sign in sheets. The vendor must maintain a written hard copy record of daily attendance that documents the arrival and departure of each child in care as it occurs.

Plan of Correction: From this point on I will make sure that the parents put the departure time at pick up.

Standard #: VENDHOM-000-029-B
Description: Based on a review of the facility's emergency plan, the facility did not ensure that that the emergency plan contained the required components. EVIDENCE: 1)The emergency did not include lockdown procedures. 2) The emergency plan did not address accommodations for special needs children in the event of evacuation, shelter in place or lockdown.

Plan of Correction: I will write the lockdown procedures and address accommodations for special needs children. I will add them to the emergency plan.
