Lockdown procedures discussed. The vendor agreement was reviewed.
Licensing Inspector arrived at 10:10am and departed at 12:35pm to conduct a Subsidy Health and Safety Inspection. At the time of the tour there were seven children, ages 5 months - two years, in care with two caregivers. Children were observed during morning program time, snack and lunch. The sample size was seven children and two caregiver records.
Standard #: VENDHOM-000-029-B-5 Description: Based on record review, the vendor failed to ensure that the emergency preparedness plan for the family day home shall include lockdown procedures. Evidence: The written emergency plan for the family day home lacked lock down procedures. Plan of Correction: The provider stated she is in the process of working on the lockdown plan for the family day home. The plan should be completed tomorrow.
