An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted from 9:00 am - 10:00 am. There were four children in care with the provider ages 14 months - 4 years old for a total of 10 points. The children were observed participating in table top activities. Lunch served today is cheese pizza, mixed veggies, apples and milk. Four children's records were reviewed and in compliance. The provider and one household member record was reviewed. One pet record was reviewed and in compliance. The provider is current in CPR, First Aid and MAT (Medication Administration Training) certification. There are no medications being administered to children in the family day home at this time. The most recent emergency escape drill was conducted 08/11/2017 and the most recent shelter in place drill was conducted 06/01/2017. Standard #: 22VAC40-191-40-D-1-c Description: Based on provider record review it was determined that not all background checks were repeated every three years. Evidence: The most recent Central Registry Check for the provider was dated 04/10/2014. Plan of Correction: The provider has sent out the central registry check and is awaiting results.
