Comments:
A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on September 8, 2017 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. The inspection was unannounced. The LI observed 4 children in care of the Provider and Assistant. The points total was 8, based on the ages of the children. The children's ages ranged from toddler to school-age. The children were served an afternoon snack. A sample of 8 records was reviewed, 5 children's, 2 caregivers and 1 household member. The Provider reported medications are not administered. Currently there are no children in care with a diagnosed food allergy. A licensing inspection was also conducted this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Violations were found during the supplemental subsidy health and safety inspection and are identified on the violation notice. The on-site inspection was conducted from 2:00pm to 5:00pm. Findings were reviewed with the Provider at exit. If you have any questions, please call (540)309-2310. Thank you.
