A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on 10/3/2017 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. The inspector started at 11:45 A.M. and ending at 2:30 p.m. The licensees was present with the licensee?s one child and grandchild and two child care children. The points were at nine and in compliance. The LI reviewed five children's and one staff and a household member's record during the inspection. Observation of the children during: free play, TV time, art, and snack. A licensing inspection was also conducted this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Violations were found during the supplemental subsidy health and safety inspection and are identified on the violation notice.
Standard #: VENDHOM-000-029-B-5 Description: Based on review and interviews, the licensee failed to ensure that the emergency plan included a lockdown plan with how to reunite parents with children after the incite is over. Plan of Correction: The licensee will type up a procedure to add the lockdown and how to reunite children with parents.
