An unannounced renewal study was conducted from 9:00 a.m.-10:15 a.m. with the provider. Five children, ages 3, 3, 4, 4, and 4 years old, were under the care and supervision of the provider for a total of ten points. Children were observed playing with dolls, watching a cartoon, playing on tablets, and playing with the provider in the play room. Required information was posted. A complete first aid kit, flashlight, and weatherband radio were present and accessible. All inside and outside areas of the home were inspected. The provider holds current first aid and CPR certification. There were no medications to review as the provider does not administer medications. Two household members' and five children's records were all reviewed and complete. Standard #: 22VAC40-111-830-A Description: Based on observation, the provider does not conduct monthly emergency escape drills. Evidence: There was no emergency escape drill for September 2017. Plan of Correction: An extra fire drill will be conducted during October.
