Description: Based on observation, an area of the the home was not maintained in a safe manner. Evidence: A lit candle with an open flame was sitting on the dining room table in the child care area.

Plan of Correction: Candle was blown out during the inspection.

Standard #: 22VAC40-111-510-A
Description: Based on observation, an individual crib was not provided for each child under the age of 12 months. Evidence: The provider has only two cribs in the home and 3 children requiring cribs were in attendance.

Plan of Correction: Will buy an additional crib.

Standard #: 22VAC40-111-680-A
Description: Based on observation, a caregiver did not wash her hands between diapering children. Evidence: Three children were diapered in succession and the caregiver did not wash her hands between children.

Plan of Correction: Will always wash hands

Standard #: 22VAC40-111-680-B
Description: Based on observation, children's hands were not washed with soap and warm running water after diapering. Evidence: The caregiver diapered three children in succession and none of the children's hands were washed after diapering.
