54.1-3408 Provider must be MAT certified to administer prescription medication.
An unannounced monitoring inspection was completed on 12/05/2017. There were 5 children, ages 2 years-5 years, totaling 9 points in the care of one provider during today's inspection. The inspector reviewed 5 children's records and one provider record. There is no medication being administered at this time. The children were observed in the following activities: breakfast, free choice play, circle time, music and movement and morning snack. Proper handwashing was also observed during the inspection. The inspector reviewed the following: the outdoor play space, the required information for parents, the updated emergency preparedness plans and emergency supplies. The inspector discussed the following with the staff: the difference between food allergies and food restrictions, new background check requirements and the new application process. An exit conference took place at the conclusion of today's inspection. The inspector arrived at 8:40 a.m. and departed at 11:10 a.m. Thank you for your time today.
