54.1-3408 Provider must be MAT certified to administer prescription medication.
An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted today from 10:00am-11:15am. At the time of inspection, 5 children (10 points) were directly supervised by the provider. The sample size consisted of 5 children records and 1 caregiver records. There was one medication on site today and the provider is MAT certified. Children were observed reading a book with a special visitor and learning about the post office and mail delivery. The children created cards to mail and a special trip is scheduled to take their mail to the post office. A nutritious lunch was being prepared of beef stew (potatoes, carrots, beef), orange, whole wheat bread, and milk. Handwashing procedures were also observed. There was an abundant supply of books, toys, and developmentally appropriate materials for the children. Area of non-compliance is identified in the Violation Notice. If you have any questions regarding this inspection, please contact the Licensing Inspector at email@example.com
