Technical Assistance:
When doing evacuation drills, you are to document the amount of time it took you and the children to evacuate the home and to get to your designated location.

Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today with the provider, who was present with three children ( age range 4 to 9 years) at the beginning of the inspection. The children were eating lunch, ham and cheese sandwiches, lettuce, apples and milk, afterward they washed their hands and then watched television. At the end of the inspection, the assistant arrived as well as a two year old child. There was documentation of one injury/accident reviewed and there were no children with medication on site. Three children's files were reviewed today. Arrival time: 1:05 pm Departure time: 2: 25 pm

Violations:
Standard #: 22VAC40-111-60-A
Description: Based on a review of three children's files and an interview with the provider, it was determined that all files had not been updated annually. Evidence: Child A and B's files had not been updated for 2016 or 2017.

Plan of Correction: All of the information remains the same so I will have the parents sign off to that effect today.
