Comments:
A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on 03/13/2018 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today from 10:15am-12:45pm. There were 3 children (9 points) directly supervised by 2 staff. The home, 2 staff records, 5 children?s records, evacuation drills, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. There were no medications on site today. Children were observed playing freely, doing puzzles, and singing. There was an abundant supply of books, toys, and materials for the children. Areas of non-compliance are identified in the Violation Notice. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Violations were found during the supplemental subsidy health and safety inspection requirements and are identified on the violation notice. Description: Based on review of emergency response drills and staff interview, lockdown procedures were not practiced annually. Evidence: There was no documentation of a lockdown drill on the emergency log. Lockdown drills have not been conducted.

Plan of Correction: We will conduct a lockdown drill once a year.
