Technical Assistance:
An exit interview was conducted with the provider to discuss the results of today's inspection. Consultation was given regarding updated background check regulations.

Comments:
An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted today, May 3, 2018 to determine the provider's compliance with licensing standards. The inspection was initiated at 11:35am and concluded at approximately 1:45pm. In attendance were 4 children totaling 9 points being supervised by the provider. Children were observed playing with toys, reciting colors, and preparing for lunch. Today's lunch consisted of corn dogs, waffle fries, mixed fruit, and milk. Children's books, toys, and equipment were inspected and found to be age appropriate and in operable condition. The children's restroom was inspected with the required supplies present. All rooms of the home were inspected with no hazards found. The van used for transportation was inspected and found to have the required information, proper registrations, and supplies.

The family day home had the required postings displayed on the wall upon entering the home. Three children's records and one provider's records were inspected with the required information found. The following was also inspected: fire drill log, shelter-in-place drills, emergency preparedness plan, first aid kit/emergency supplies, parent agreements, and other pertinent information.
