Comments:
A subsidy health and safety inspection was conducted on 07/10/18 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. Today's visit was a routine monitoring inspection. The inspection began at 10:30am and concluded at 1:00pm. There were six children in care and a total of ten points. During the inspection the outdoor area was viewed, three out of eleven children's records were viewed, a new staff member's record was viewed, lunch time was observed, infant care was observed, the FDH emergency plan was reviewed, emergency supplies were viewed, and some policies and procedures were reviewed. Discussion took place regarding model forms that can be found online for all subsidy vendors. A background check violation was cited during today's inspection and requires follow-up with your inspector to take place within ten days or by the close of business on 7/20/18 Thank you for your time, please call me at 309-2051 if you have any questions. A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date as the SHSI supplemental inspection: the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. No violations of the supplemental subsidy health and safety requirements were found.
