An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted from 9:00 am - 10:15 am. There were 9 children in care ages, 4 months, 12 months, 16 months, 23 months, 2 years, 2 years, 3 years, 3 years, and 5 years for a total of 21 points with the provider and 1 assistant. The children were observed participating in free play. Lunch served today is macaroni and cheese, ham, peas, fruit cocktail, and milk. Nine children's records were reviewed and in compliance. The provider and one assistant record was reviewed and in compliance. The most recent emergency escape drill was conducted 09/28/2018 and the most recent shelter in place drill was conducted 02/09/2018. There are reportedly no medications being administered to children in the family day home at this time. Description: Based on observation of the family day home it was determined that not all infant seats are being used with safety straps according to the manufacturer's instructions. Evidence: Child A was observed seated in an infant seat without being secured using the safety straps.

Plan of Correction: The provider will secure all infants in their infant seats while in use.
