A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on 11/15/2018 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. Present during the inspection were 2 children, both of which were 2 years old, totaling 4 points, in the care of one provider. The inspector reviewed 5 children's records and one provider record during today's inspection. The provider stated that there was no medication being administered at this time. The children were observed in free choice activities, music and movement, having a morning snack and participating in learning activities; the daily schedule was altered due to a 2 hour delay for inclement weather. The inspector reviewed the emergency preparedness plans, the required parent information and emergency supplies during the inspection today. The inspector discussed the following with the provider: an upcoming field trip, continuation of trainings by an outside source and the changes to the subsidy requirements. A licensing inspection was also conducted on this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. No violations of the supplemental subsidy health and safety inspection were found. The inspector arrived for the inspection at 10:00 a.m. and departed at 12:00 p.m. If you have any questions, please contact Becky Forestier at 540-309-2835.
