54.1-3408 Provider must be MAT certified to administer prescription medication.

Technical Assistance:
Once the provider registers her business name with the State Corporation Commission (SCC) the business name will be added back onto the license.

Comments:
An unannounced full renewal inspection was conducted today. The provider and one assistant caregiver were caring for 7 children, totaling 19 points. Children's records, caregiver/adult records, background checks, caregiver training, emergency preparedness items, children's nutrition, care of children, and programming were inspected today. The provider reported that no children's medications were on site today. This inspection took place in the middle of the day. The children were observed playing with animal toys and preparing for afternoon nap. The children were served chicken/vegetable pizza, breadsticks, pears, and milk for lunch today. This inspection was completed between approximately 12:15pm and 1:15pm. Thank you for meeting with me today. Standard #: 22VAC40-111-50-A
Description: Based on a review of administrative documents, it was determined that the provider did not complete the attendance for today. Evidence: Upon arrival, there were 7 children in care. The provider had not documented the daily attendance.

Plan of Correction: The attendance was completed immediately during the inspection.
