An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today. There are 4 children (10 points) with two caregivers present. 2 adult and 2 child's records were reviewed. See violation notice for missing information. Children were observed during a diaper change, washing hands, eating snack and resting quietly. Emergency escape drills, rabies vaccinations, first aid supplies, emergency supplies, rest cots, and cribs are all in compliance. Standard #: 22VAC40-111-140-B-3 Description: Based upon a review of documentation, no caregiver is current in CPR certification. Evidence: CPR certification for both caregivers present today expired 10/9/2018. Plan of Correction: We will take a class as soon as possible.
Standard #: 22VAC40-111-140-B-4 Description: Based upon a review of documentation, there is no caregiver current in first aid certification. Evidence: First aid certification expired 10/9/2018 for both caregivers present today. (Adult A, B) Plan of Correction: We will take a class as soon as possible.
Standard #: 22VAC40-111-180-A Description: Based upon a review of records, one caregiver did not obtain documentation of a Tuberculosis screening every two years. Evidence: Caregiver A's TB results are dated10/11/16 (expired). Plan of Correction: I will get a new screening or test this week.
