63.2 Licensure and Registration Procedures

Comments:
The licensing inspector conducted an unannounced monitoring inspection on Tuesday, February 12, 2019 from approximately 9:40 am to 11:15 am to determine the provider's compliance with the licensing standards. During this inspection, there were no children in care, however there is one child enrolled currently. The family day home designated childcare areas were inspected. The providers record and one children's record were reviewed during his inspection. The family day home's first aid kit and emergency supplies were inspected. Standard #: 63.2-1720.1-B-2
Description: Based on review of the provider record, the licensee did not ensure to submit OBI fingerprinting within the required deadline. Evidence: During the inspection on February 12, 2019, the provider's OBI fingerprinting document was dated 01/23/19.

Plan of Correction: The licensee will ensure to follow all required deadlines pertaining to background checks in the future.
