Thank you for you assistance during this unannounced monitoring inspection. This on-site visit was conducted on April 4, 2019 from 11:25 a.m. through 1:00 p.m. There were five people in the care of the provider for a total of twelve points. No medication is being administered at this time. Five children's records were reviewed. The record for the provider and two household members were reviewed and updated. Areas observed were: outside play, lunch preparation, lunch, books, hand washing/diapering and bathroom procedures, infant feeding and nap. Interactions between the children and provider were observed as appropriate and the children seem comfortable with the daily routine and schedule. The home is well equipped with a variety of age/stage materials for the children in care. Please contact me at 540-430-9256 if you have any questions and/or if I may be of assistance with licensing standards.

In addition, the online compliance history includes information regarding adverse actions that may be the subject of a pending appeal. An adverse action is not final until a provider has exhausted or waived all due process rights. For compliance history prior to July 1, 2003, or information regarding the status of pending adverse actions, please contact the Licensing Inspector listed in the facility's information. The Virginia Department of Social Services (VDSS) is not responsible for any errors in or omissions from the compliance history information.Virginia Quality is a voluntary quality rating and improvement system for early care and education facilities serving children ages birth through pre-K. Eligible child care facilities must be fully licensed, licensed exempt and a VDSS subsidy vendor, or a voluntary registered day home and a VDSS subsidy vendor.
