Technical Assistance:
Technical assistance today included record keeping and working with children with a diagnosed allergy.

Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted this afternoon from 3:00 - 4:30 pm today. There were six children present with the provider and assistant for 13 points. I observed the end of naptime, quiet play and snacktime. Children were singing, practicing vocabulary and playing with toys. Standard #: 22VAC40-111-60-B
Description: Based on a review of records today, there was one children's file that was missing some information. Evidence:plan According to the records, a physician documented a serious food allergy on 10/8/18 for Child # 1, but there was no plan of action in the event of an allergic emergency that is applicable at this time.

Plan of Correction: I will talk to the parent about what to do until my medication training is complete.

Standard #: 22VAC40-111-250-E
Description: Based on observation and staff confirmation today, there were balloons accessible to children in care. Evidence: On the floor of the closet today, there were two balloons that had been used earler.

Plan of Correction: Corrected/disposed of during the inspection.
