Comments:
An unannounced Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted with the provider from 1:00 PM and ending at 2:40 PM. There were eleven children in the care of the provider and assistant during the inspection. The children's ages were 9 months, 16 months, 2, 3, 3, 3, 3, 3, 3, 4, and 5 years old for a total of 25 points. The children were observed laying or sitting quietly on their cots during nap time. One child was observed sleeping in a crib. The children were also observed being read a story by a caregiver. Children were also observed eating snack which consisted of apple slices, crackers, and water. Five children's records were reviewed. Two household members' records and one staff record were reviewed and in compliance. There were no children's medications on site. There were no allergy care plans to be reviewed. The first aid kit, flashlight, and weather band radio were observed in compliance. The emergency escape drill log was reviewed and in compliance.
