- Technical Assistance:
Consultation was given on increasing capacity as requested on the renewal application. The new capacity can only be allowed with a new certificate of occupancy from Arlington County that permits 6 children. A fan is needed in the living room area if the temperature reached 80 degrees or higher and is allowed as long as a mesh guard is in place.
An unannounced renewal study was conducted today from 10:00-11:15. Four children were present with two caregivers for twelve points which is within ratios for supervision. The home has two rooms for day care purposes. Observed children engaged in free play, singing, blocks and reading stories as well as infant care. Two children's records as well as all household members andcaregivers were reviewed. Emergency preparation is current. Areas of non-compliance are identified in the violation notice. If you have any questions regarding the inspection, please feel free to contact me. Thank you Ann Dramstad Licensing Inspector 703-314-0860 firstname.lastname@example.org
