Comments:
An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted today. Staff to children ratios were found to be in compliance.. The physical plant, children' records, evacuation drills, injury reports, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. All medications on site today were also reviewed. Children were observed participating in group activities: sensory activities including snow and magic sand, holiday traditions, eating lunch, and the transition into nap time. Hand-washing procedures were also observed. There was an abundant supply of books, toys, and materials for the children. The center was clean and organized. If you have any questions regarding this inspection, please contact the Licensing Inspector, kelly.savittiere@dss.virginia.gov.
