The inspector conducted an unannounced focused inspection on Wednesday, May 27, 2015 from 10:45am to 12:00pm. The center is on a provisional license and this visit focused on the main areas of previous non-compliance. Four children and two staff records were reviewed. The following child to staff records were observed: Infants-10:3 Toddlers-5:1 Twos- 8:1 Preschool (three's)-10:1 Pre-K- 20:2 If you have any questions about this inspection, please contact your licensing inspector, Roshon Casey, at (804) 662-9760. PROVIDER: Please complete the ?plan of correction? and ?date to be corrected? for each violation cited on the violation notice and return it to me within 10 calendar days from today. You will need to specify how the deficient practice will be or has been corrected. Just writing the word ?corrected? is not acceptable. Your plan of correction must contain: 1) steps to correct the noncompliance with the standard(s), 2) measures to prevent the noncompliance from occurring again; and 3) person(s) responsible for implementing each step and/or monitoring any preventative measures. Please do not use staff names; list staff by positions only.
Standard #: 22VAC40-185-280-B Description: Based on observation on 05/27/2015 the center did not ensure that hazardous substances such as cleaning materials, shall be kept in a locked place that prevents access by children. EVIDENCE: The inspector observed a spray bottle of Murphy's Oil in a cabinet underneath the sink in the school age room. No children were present in the room during this inspection.
