63.2 Licensure and Registration Procedures
- Technical Assistance:
Discussed emergency supplies required for second floor. Also discussed creating and implementing a plan that addresses possible emergency medication needs when on the second floor.
An unannounced inspection was conducted between 415-530 pm. There were 51 children present today with 8 staff supervising the children and one CS. The Inspector observed activities, transition of children, and the departure of children. Staff were helping the children with making models, coloring, making books, working on home work, and playing in the gym. The Inspector checked two medications and the corresponding written authorizations. The Inspector also checked documents posted for the parents and this included the License and most recent inspection report. The Inspector also observed the classrooms added into the program. Standard #: 22VAC40-185-540-E Description: Based on observation, the battery operated radio did not work. Evidence: 1. The staff turned on the radio but the batteries were not charged. Plan of Correction: Will purchase tomorrow.
