Technical Assistance:
Discussion was held on the topics of current enrollment, current staffing, and the future addition of another classroom area that may increase the overall center capacity by another 9 children. Once the room is completed then licensing will be contacted in order to do an exact measurement and a modification to the existing license to reflect a change in capacity.

Comments:
The following inspection took place between the hours of 10 am through 12 pm. Today, I met with the Staff of the Montessori School located in Lovettsville, Virginia. At the start of this unannounced monitoring inspection there were a total of 10 children with 2 staff; good ratio for this one group. A total of 16 children?s files and 3 staff files were reviewed. The children were engaged in the following: centers within the room to include: puzzles, art, counting, reading, and music), story time, snack, large motor skills out on playground, and other organized activities. If you should have any future questions, please call. Thank you. Charlie Perkins, Licensing Inspector (703) 309-3963
