Technical Assistance:
An exit interview was conducted with the program director to discuss the results of today's inspection.

Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today, January 28, 2016 to determine the program's compliance with licensing standards. Upon arrival, the following ratio's were observed:

Two year old room: 10 children/ 2 staff
Three year old room: 10 children/ 2 staff
Preschool room: 12 children/ 2 staff
After school room 1: 12 children/ 2 staff
After school room 2B: 8 children/1 staff
After school room 3G: 4 children/1 staff

Children were observed using the restroom, eating snack (cheddar crackers and apple juice) and participating in classroom activities. All areas used by children were inspected to include the main hallways, children's restrooms, and classrooms. Due to inclement weather (snow), the outdoor playground was not inspected.

The program had the required postings displayed on the wall upon entering the building and in children's classrooms. The program's first aid kit and emergency supplies were inspected with the required supplies found. Ten children's and two staff records were inspected with the required information present. The following was also inspected on this day: medication & authorizations, medication log, annual fire & health inspections, fire/shelter-in-place drills, emergency preparedness plan, parent agreements, and other pertinent information.
