22VAC40-185 STAFF QUALIFICATIONS AND TRAINING.

Comments:
A staff record review was completed at the central location. Two staff records and four board members/agent records were reviewed. A violation was found in the area of training and appears on the violation notice.

Violations:
Standard #: 22VAC40-185-240-C
Description: Based on record review and interview the center failed to ensure that staff obtain the required number of annual training hours. Evidence: 1 - The record for staff 1 contains documentation for 5 and 1/4 hours of annual training where 16 hours are required. 2 - Staff 2 confirmed that there were 5 and 1/4 hours of training documented.

Plan of Correction: Agency management will ensure that the required number of training hours are obtained and documented in each staff record.
