63.2 General Provisions.

Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted on 2/25/16 between 3:50 and 5:15. The inspection was conducted with the staff and the exit interview was conducted with the owner. The inspector spoke with staff and children. The following staff/child ratios were observed: 2?s - one staff with five children 3?s - two staff with 11 children (two classrooms) 4 and 5?s - one staff with three children The children were engaged in various activities including playing games, blocks and puzzles. Snack this afternoon was vanilla wafers and raisins. Lunch today was French toast sticks, link sausage, hash browns, fruit cocktail and milk. Health inspection ? 10/19/15; Fire inspection ? 7/15/15; Last fire drill 1/25/16 and a shelter-in-place drill was conducted on 11/5/15 All required documents were posted including license, licensing notices, menu, and evacuation information.

Standard #: 22VAC40-185-320-B
Description: The center did not ensure that the water temperature in the restroom did not exceed 120 degrees. Evidence: The water temperature in the restroom off the two-year-old room was measured at 130.3 degrees with the inspector's thermometer.

Plan of Correction: Putting a mixer on the sink to adjust temperature. Calling plumber tomorrow.
