Comments:
An unannounced renewal study was conducted from 11:15-12:30. Thirty children were present with four staff on a Teacher Workday. Children were participating in a gym game, free play and reading as well as preparation for a dance showcase later in the month. Rooms are well equipped, clean and organized. Medication is on-site for several children with staff having current Mediation Administration Training (MAT) certification as well as First Aid and CPR. Emergency drills and supplies are up to date. Staff records, policies and procedures are checked twice a year at the OFC. Lunch was bought from home and boxes were labeled with date and name. A sample of injury forms were complete. Please sign and date the report and return it to me within 10 calendar days from date of receipt. If you have any questions regarding the inspection, please feel free to contact me. Thank you Ann Dramstad Licensing Inspector 703-314-0860 ann.dramstad@dss.virginia.gov
