Also discussed some rising kindergarten age children and summer ratio. We discussed Conflict Resolution for school age. We discussed Accident Log reviews and statement of review monthly.
An Unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted beginning at 9:25 and ending at 11:45. There were 86 children present, ages infant through 12. School was out for the week for Spring Break. I noted that the school age children had really embraced the Anti bullying theme and had written insightful papers about what bullying is and why they should not bully. They had also written their own classroom rules. I noted throughout the facility, classrooms appropriately displaying child centered art, curriculum activities and learning activities. Classrooms were set up with supplies on the shelves. Shelves were labeled. Children were being encouraged to put toys away after using them. Classroom ratios were appropriate in all rooms. No medications at today's inspection. Menu was appropriate .
