Comments:
An application to renew the Center's license was received by the Licensing Office on April 21, 2016. A Renewal inspection was conducted in the Center on May 20, 2016. The Center has varied schedules that offer full day and part day programs. There were 73 children participating in the program during the morning on the date of inspection. The PD reported 153 children on currently enrolled. Several groups of children were out of the Center taking part in end-of-the-year field trips. The Center had recently hosted a graduation ceremony for the children who will be entering kindergarten in the fall. The LI observed children as they participated in selected centers. Staff wee observed interacting with the children. A sample of records was reviewed, 6 children's and 3 staff members. Documentation of the Center's annual health and fire inspections was reviewed. Medications and written parental authorizations were reviewed for 2 children. Multiple staff members have completed medication administration training (MAT). Eight school-age children arrived to the Center after school. The Center was maintained clean and organized. Each classroom was equipped with age appropriate supplies and materials. No violations of the Standards were observed during the inspection. Thank you.
