An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted on June 7, 2017. The director was present when the inspection began, and after she left for an appointment, a teacher assisted with the inspection. In Building B there were 7 preschool children with 1 staff in the front room. The children were eating their lunch, and had been outside earlier making a water fall. After eating they took turns using the rest room and washing their hands. One of the children read a book to them as they waited their turn. In the second room there were 4 infants with 1 staff, and 3 toddlers with 1 staff. Three of the infants and the toddlers were eating lunch. One of the infants was in an infant seat. After eating, the toddlers used the rest room and washed their hands. The infants were preparing for nap time. Lunch for the day included turkey meat balls, corn, macaroni, applesauce, and milk. School age children, who use Building A, were not present. It was noted that the children will be taking swimming lessons this summer. The required authorizations were discussed. Inspection began: 10:35 Inspection ended: 11:50
