Current Inspector: Stephanie Salvatori (571) 389-0980

Inspection Date: April 26, 2016

Complaint Related: Yes

Areas Reviewed:
63.2 General Provisions.

Technical Assistance:
**Discussed with the owner and the director that there seems to be a great deal of low staff morale when it comes to staff voicing issues and concerns that they may have, and being treated poorly and being retaliated against when doing so. Discussed with the owner and director that work needs to be done to repair if not strengthen the relationship between management and staff, and that a lack of understanding on both ends will lead to the disruption of the care the children are recieving.

The licensing inspector for Bright Start Preschool 1 conducted an unannounced complaint inspection in response to a complaint that was received by the licensing office on 4/13/2016. Interviews were conducted with staff relating to the allegation of retaliating against staff. The information gathered during the investigation does not support the allegation, so the complaint is determined to be ?not valid.? There are no violations resulting from this complaint investigation. If you have any questions, contact your licensing inspector at.
